Translate product vision and business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and architectural designs for cross-system integration.
Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and various engineering teams (e.g., front-end, back-end, IoT, data) to ensure alignment and successful delivery of integrated solutions.
Identify and mitigate technical dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks across multiple product teams and systems.
IoT Integration & System Connectivity:
Lead the design and implementation of IoT solutions to connect various physical devices and systems within Metthier's infrastructure.
Develop and manage data pipelines for IoT device telemetry, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage.
Implement robust communication protocols and APIs for seamless interaction between IoT devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot and optimize IoT connectivity, performance, and data integrity across the ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment:
Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert for system integration and IoT within Metthier.
Facilitate technical discussions, problem-solving sessions, and architectural reviews with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
Ensure consistent technical standards, best practices, and documentation across all integrated products and systems.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers on full-stack development, IoT integration, and system orchestration principles.

Qualifications
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive software development experience, with a significant focus on full-stack development and system integration.
Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS) for backend development.
Strong experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and microservices architectures.
Proven experience with IoT integration, including understanding of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and cloud IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT Core).
Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling for complex integrated systems.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze complex technical challenges across multiple systems.
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional teams.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-Have:
Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
